The guys behind the e-commerce experiment are Justin Turner, Chris Barber and Hollie Ellis who all work at carrotmedia ltd in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. See biographies below for more info on each of the guys;
Justin Turner (@JTatCarrot) started carrotmedia ltd in 2004 and has become a well respected member of the business community in the North East. Justin has a passion for start up businesses and is currently involved in several companies. His business interests included buy to let properties, vehicle tracking, mobile telecoms and printing. Justin has jumped at the opportunity to get involved with the E-commerce Experiment with his other co-directors from Carrot Media.
Chris Barber (@chrisbarber86) has worked for carrotmedia since the start of 2008, having completed his Degree in Computing Science at Newcastle University in 2007. He is the Technical Director at carrotmedia and is used to working with the latest technologies in order to maximise the potential of our software and systems. Chris has a passion for working with Ecommerce Clients and developing our ecommerce systems, so it made perfect sense for him to get involved with the E-commerce Experiment.
Hollie Ellis (@ellishollie) joined carrotmedia and Pink Impression in June 2007 whilst completing her Degree in Graphic Design. In September 2007 she became Print Manager for Pink Impression and has a real passion for what she does. She is a keen photographer and designer who is always on her Mac! She is delighted to be involved in the E-commerce Experiment and is very much looking forward to it!
Alex Irwin joined carrotmedia on an 8 week placement as part of the Shell Step scheme which matches students with relevant work experience. She is currently studying Media, Communications & Cultural studies at Newcastle University and we hope she gained some valuable industry experience from her time here. She assisted us with market research, advertising, blogging and PR.
