How strong is your team?

I’m prepared to put my money where my mouth is to prove this point. Every member of the carrotmedia team will become a director and shareholder in the new ecommerce business. We are a united team and in order to ensure the success of the project we need teamwork and dedication. If I truly belief that the team is as strong as I say, then why wouldn’t I want every member to be a director. To this end we have discussed shareholding and come to a fair agreement as to the division of the company between us all.

The Banking Hurdles

In the long terms will we stay with HSBC? I doubt it unless our business grows drastically to over £1 million. The major problems I had with HSBC are that unless you are a sizable business they really don’t care and are faceless in communicating with their customers. When you need something from them you have a long drawn out process and no ability for them to be flexible. Business colleagues who are running large turnover businesses can’t speak highly enough of HSBC as a personal bank manager is appointed.

We called an emergency meeting in the office where we all sat down to discuss how we can build ecommerce business for our clients faster with less cost. A throw away remark was made; “well short of starting our own ecommerce business how will we find out?”. This was a great idea and putting your own money on the line will definitely help the team concentrate on finding the right formula for our own solution.
